The night prior to getting my tattoo, I spent the night finally at home but talking to TJ on the phone until around 2am. Whenever we have to spend the night away from each other, we both show signs of distress. In this sweet, sorrow-filled conversation we had suddenly developed into an argument as to what time I will see him the next day. The argument then turned into, what seemed like to me, a challenge. TJ swore he believed that I would never wake up early to see him, which is partially true because I do have a history of intense appreciation to my slumbers. We left the conversation open-ended.
I attempted to go to bed around 3am after an hour of web surfing after ending the conversation. For some reason, when I began first initial rest, I couldn't stop thinking about what TJ said. I kept getting up out of bed debating whether or not it was possible to execute everything my mind was stirring up. I started thinking about a ridiculous scheme to see him tomorrow. Intense percolation. How early was too early to see him? At 3:45am, I came up with a plan.
Here was the schedule:
SLEEP 3:45a-4a
START BREWING COFFEE 4a
SHOWER 4a-4:20a
GET READY 4:20-4:50a
(call Denny's)

After basking in the beauty of the sunrise, we headed back to Glen's house for me to nap. I left in time to go to InkFiendArt in Alhambra by 5pm.
