For my bestbestbest friend's 20th birthday, I planned a secretive surprise dinner for her with all of her loved ones at Shogun in Pasadena. Krystal had no clue. I forgot how difficult and tiring it was to plan such an intricate event, but exciting at the same time. Krystal had originally thought dinner was only us two, but with detailed planning I managed to bring along Thomas, Marco, Jenn, and JL. JL was down from San Fran, so it was double the pleasure to have him there. She was beyond surprised. Tears were shed. Meaning pure success.

Somehow, Krystal drifted away to the end of the pool and threw up. At one point, I joined her in a neighboring bush as we cried together because we loved each other and our friendship. HAHHAHA. Oh man. It slowly turned ridiculous.

After a WILD night of ringing in Krystal's birthday, I took her home to prepare for her beach bonfire the following day.
