It was a wonderful girls night out as we drove to the decent part of Pomona to watch Passion Pit at the Glasshouse.

The girls and I practically lolly gagged about and around the Glasshouse until Passion Pit performed. The first opening performer was Cale Parks which Jenn and Sarah had a field day about because he exasperated Jenn and Sarah by his raging-ness. The Glasshouse wasn't packed during his performance. The girls and I went in and out as we made pit stops at my car to drink our UV and coke. Once Harlem Shakes got on stage the crowd was turning up. We all danced merrily. We even picked band members for each other. I tried with all my might to make eye connection with the lead singer and develop some sort of visual conversation with our lovely eyes... Sadly, it was a failure. Passion Pit finally began. The whole crowd went apeshit. What began as a mutal delightful moment between Passion Pit and the audience, it slowly turned into a violent moshing environment. How? .. It is a known fact that when bros are involved, the fun situation will turn shitty.. and it did. We danced the last song upstairs where there was breathing room and less drama.Just like every show we have been to during those "scene days," going to Denny's is an absolute MUST. I haven't been to Denny's after a show since the '04-'07 era. It was a nice change to go out with the girls and enjoy those delicious Grand Slams.

I really miss going to shows. Back in '04-'07 era where there were shows every weekend starting Friday night ending Monday morning. It was a nice feeling back then because I was actually with the band. Kind of this Penny Lane girl in the SGV. Even going and working at Warped Tour was such an important part of my life in that era. All these main bands that were famously known in the scene, hanging out, having the passes that all teenscenes wished they had, watching from a close distance, and making friends with everyone (the crew, merch guys, band members). Such a nice little community of music lovers. It was all very important. Haha, even Taste of Chaos was cool at one point until shitty bands took over. After taking this break from all shows and such, I almost forgot what it was like to be so close to the music. I really miss those days. But, I guess it's always nice to grow up and settle down a bit.
