Day #19: World, Welcome Alyssa Bautista!

"my impressions of love, work, school, family, friends, life, Night Kids, New York and pretty much anything else that is on my mind."
Summer officially started June 21. We are only within the first week and already seeing temperatures of high 90s approaching 100. Yesterday was probably the peak of my disgusting-ness sulking in this summer heat. I was being cooked in TJ's house in Fontana with an AC that was cold for only 5 minute increments. For every 20 minutes of hot air coming out from this "AC," only 5 minutes of cold bliss was allowed. I spent that day spread across the floor watching Made: Hip Hop Dance Battle with TJ. Abby was the hardest to digest. Ms. Piggy was annoying and deserved to get her knee popped out of place. Sorry. I'm glad my Perez Hilton look alike won. Anywho, Summer so far has been one for the books. Having the time of my life with my loved ones.. exhausted, raging, debauchery, endless nights, Summer romances, potential blowing out of speakers.. there's so much more in store before Summer is over. This is just the beginning. I wish it never ends.

After waiting about thirty minutes for a bonfire pit, I decided to take initiative and steal an abandoned pit that had one chair and a bulk of wood. No one was there. By the time we all got situated, the family came back. We had to sit uncomfortably as they talked trash. We saw a little boy cry as his eye glistened at our pathetically lit bonfire.
