It was very risky for me to go to a GridLife event after the whole Thomas Youngsunn phase. He had been trying to contact me for quite some time. It was with my girls so I decided to let it pass. I just figured it would be extremely awkward if YS was there. From word of mouth, I heard he was having problems with Chris (Diamond), and Chris was one of the main DJs of that night, so I didn't know if he would be there that night. The girls pregamed in my car as usual. We danced all night. I had a great time, but always kept an open eye for him. I didn't want him there to ruin my night with my girls. There was an awkward vibe between Diamond and I the whole night. I danced for all of Diamond's set before deciding to talk to him about YS. All he said was that YS was a sketchy person and a backstabber. Very vague.
After dropping everybody off, I decided to ask YS myself through a text what the issue was. I was being very short, trying not to linger, but I was still curious. I was in the process of driving to see Thomas Jay. After he texted me he missed me, I decided to stop responding. Sadly, he did the triple text. Sigh. The Triple Text. If you don't reply, they send another text, and another. Thus, three consecutive textes with no responses from your end. The cherry on top is the triple text, followed by a call. And that's what I got. Because I was driving on the freeway with my phone was caught in the abyss of my purse, I could not ID who was calling me because my car Bluetooth couldn't tell me exactly who was calling. I answered through the car Bluetooth not knowing. Ugh, knowing about the triple text, the conversation just got pathetic as he attempted to tell me the story between him and Diamond. Cutting me off everytime I tried to speak. Wow. I had to scream that I had to go because I was lingering outside of Thomas Jay's. Also, turns out he got dropped from the GridLife label. For about 40 minutes, the conversation lasted. Before leaving, again, pleading to see me and hang out. I wished him the best with everything and hung up. Honestly, since Thomas Jay has been in town, I have drastically declined the need to see other people, especially guys.
Eh.

By the way, turns out the girl we whispered about looking like Hannabeth, really was, indeed, Hannabeth. Weird. I know she's been to other GridLife events, so ha, should've known.
