'Tis The Season For A Great Ending.

For this holiday season Thomas, Jill, Willie, and I spent it at home in our lovely Brooklyn apartment. This is our second Christmas together as a group (last year we spent it in Boston). Willie actually had to leave two days before Christmas day, so we spent our Christmas night on the 23rd. These are just some of the pictures from our holiday festivities and our Christmas eve.

At the midnight of our Christmas eve, we all got to open one gift of our choosing. Jill and I decided to give Thomas and Willie their joint gift, which they LOVED. Nerf Tag. Awesome. Thomas gave me a fur jacket from UO. Willie gave Jill Cheap Monday cube metal bracelet and ring from NastyGal. I gave Thomas Black Ops for Xbox. Jill gave Willie a Flip camera, and I gave Twix a gingerboy treat.

For our Christmas, we got a SHITLOAD of things. Clothes was the common gift that everybody got. Everybody got one or two big gifts, i.e. $300 headphones, sewing machine, iPhone4, etc. There are pictures but they won't be posted because we were just WAY to humble (no make-up, pajamas, etc) LOL.

Along with the fur jacket and the numerous pieces of clothing, on the real Christmas day Thomas got me a 160gb iPod Classic which I desperately needed. My first iPod that my dad gave me died last year..well, it pretty much exploded on impact as I dropped it on the floor for the last time :P

This was such a great Christmas. This was such a great year in general. So much has happened in 2010, that a bit of it is downright unbelievable. The success of Night Kids has been such a blessing: getting residency at Happy Ending in the Lower East Side, releasing 13 tracks, selling our EP, joining the guys from WEOWN.ORG, having our managers Nick and Ryan, landing on Hype Machine's most popular list TWICE (#7 for "Don't Fuck Up" and #4 with our remix of Skrillex's "With Your Friends, Long Drive), playing for the craziest crowds in Philly, shooting our first music video, getting interviewed with The New Philadelphia, and the countless press we have gotten in blogs. We the Night Kids also moved in together along with Twix, our very own Night Kid. A couple traveling here and there from LA to Boston to Cape Cod to Philly to New York. Jill graduating from Parsons, and me starting at Hunter. All getting jobs around the same time. We celebrated four birthdays. We celebrated this whole year.

I'm glad we got to celebrate it as a family.

Bring it, 2011.

Pet Peeves.

1) People who say they're from Los Angeles, who are definitely not, and just say it for the "title".
2) People who use handicap doors, just so they can seem majestic like the doors are magically opening for them.
3) Spoiled brats
4) Couples who do the continuous "baby-talk" that quickly turns annoying and into borderline pedophilia (Sorry ladies, I don't think your boyfriend wants to be sexual with a 7 year old child).

Phew.

Happy 22nd Birthday, Jill!

For Jill's 22nd birthday we enjoyed lunch in the city at our FAVORITE place, Olive Garden. I came here for my birthday earlier in September, so what better way to celebrate Jill's birthday than here at the best place on earth.. Olive Garden. We did so much needed retail therapy, then enjoyed the rest of the day back at our apartment with some ice cream cake! :D

Although it was Jill's birthday, Thomas got a gift as well. A brand new black Nixon watch from Bloomingdale's. Jill got a Crackle Zippo lighter and a very sentimental homemade card from me :)

Later that week, we all went on a road trip to Worcester, MA so Jill could continue her birthday celebration with more shopping, more dinners, and more alcohol.

Driving back to New York City. Twix found the most conventional place to rest :)
