So Long Sweet WinterBreak.

Basically, with the stressfulness and absurdities of my first semester at Mt.SAC, this winter break was long awaited. I never wanted something to end so soon and in the premature stages of the semester. I found myself contemplating what I'd be doing Winter Break when it was only October. Though my classes only lasted 16 weeks, it felt like a full school year :{ The group of "kids" I was put into the group with were absolutely ridiculous, but knowing me, I tried to make the best of it. My optimism only last as far as cooperation was on my side .. and cooperation gave up very quickly. I found myself making a couple good friends from the class,but the other 95% of the students I unquestionably found annoying/disgusting/grotesque/or non-human worthy. It was astonishing how these people got under my skin everyday. Finals week began and I was ecstatic for making it thus far and not (completely) blowing off on someone. I had to wake up 2 hours prior to my regular class time to take finals. Apparently there was no carjams because the parking lot was completely empty, which is very rare to find on a weekday. Trust me, we Mountaineers know.

Here's Marissa and I looking glamorous for our 7am English final, and fabulous for our 12pm Counseling final. I have never seen so many pairs of sweats and big sweaters just for finals week. Girls all around dgaf with no makeup on. Haha, I absolutely loved it.

BlackFriday weekend:

I don't even want to list all the cities, stores, and endless list of what I bought, it would seriously tire me out.

Work was also inevitable in my Winter Break. I couldn't complain because I am now working two jobs and making bank $$$. Whoever said all work and no play, was a darn liar and is apparently a loner because I have the best co-workers in the world and we have a bunch of fun every night, unless Bobby is on his bi-polar period raid against everyone and everything, but either than that, we have all became a family here in the past year-plus-s
ome-months, even the newbies like Jenn :}

Courtside Sports Bar + Sushi Employee Christmas Party, to let us know we all care.

I also got my Accord tinted. It looks sicker than ever, I am in love with it. I feel as if the front should have been darker, but I don't want to spend more money to get it re-done. Krystal and Irvin came with me for this joyious occasion of car tinting in Rosemead. We sat in the waiting room like proud parents in a delivery room. Krystal and I spent the time waiting going through what we would like for Christmas because we had no clue what to get each other. I know never to buy Krystal clothes because she works at Urban and has all the cutest clothes one could ever want.
Krystal, Irvin, and I then went to BJ's for lunch. I had never been there before. I love first times.

Winter Break was also the time we celebrated Brett's 21st birthday! It was a lot of fun to watch Brett get more shitfaced than I have ever seen him get. I love this guy. I arrived at Brett's house for his party around 5pm, played some Foosball first the first time and headed out to Hollywood for the random-est hormonal visit ever, and returned back to see all my friends who I haven't seen in ages. Eric was there, not surprising, drunk as well. I love him, too. I jumped on top of him as soon as I saw him with minor drinks splattering to the floor. Things kind of bummed me out when he immediately reminisced through the past and took something out of context and burned me in front of a couple people. He apologized the day after. I accepted, I know how Eric can be when he is drunk, trust. I've know this guy for a while now.
That picture holds the best "game face" I could put on while playing a fierce game of Foosball.
I gave Brett a wonderful picture in a frame from the dinner we had a while ago. I decorated the frame with glitter glue and wrote cute stuff around it. He loved it, and that only made me happy. He walked me to his room, and hung it on his dresser. I'm pretty excited Brett is 21 now, because he was using the most ridiculous non-identical fake but real ID one could ever see. The guy's name was Eric Soliz and it looked nothing like Brett. According to this ID, he was suppose to be around his 30's or 40's. The only thing similar to Brett and this Eric Soliz was their skin tone. Haha, I couldn't believe how many times it has worked for him. It even worked when Brett, Derrick, Krystal, Jon, Roxanne, and I went to the Dodger game. Derrick had a fake too, and we couldn't help but have quite a good laugh at the un-resemblance of these IDs.

Beautiful Los Angeles was also a big part of my extravagent Winter Break. I went back and forth to LA after, what seems to be, years. I use to spend a great deal of my time there in the past years, but haven't had the chance once I started working like a maniac and balancing school, so going back was very refreshing to me. One occassion I went to LA for was definitely the shopping. I went with Isabel because she was also on Winter Break from UCLA. It was great seeing her again :} We spent the day before LA relaxing at home and catching up with current situations, including out unforunate love life. Haha, it's funny how men tend to have a toll on us & hyperactive dogs.

The following day we wanted to go earlier than we previously had in the past. We aimed for 11am, but traffic was not on our side, as usual. I actually like not driving from time-to-time. It takes a lot of load off me. I am allowed to sit back, relax, and look at the beautiful scenery. It was quite nice. We talked our whole way there, and managed to get semi-lost looking for the secret street of purses.

I ironically ran into Diego one day when I was out drinking coffee with Roxanne. Roxanne and I ate at Baja Fresh (which is my first time there), and it was quite good. It was there that I realized then that I left my school ID in the computer lab on the last day of Fall semester. I was pretty bummed about that for a while. Diego called me and told me he was at the mall, which surprised me because he lives all the way in Pasadena. Roxanne and I met up with Diego and we went to the new Forever21. Roxanne and I really had to pee, so we ran inside my work to use the restroom. It pays to work so close to the mall. Diego waited for us. It was nice seeing him, after seeing him we decided the spend more time together before my winter break was over. We couldn't wait. As usual, Diego bombarded me with his sexual love stories that I have grown to miss. The holidays were quickly approaching so there were a lot of last minute shoppers at the mall. They get really annoying when standing at close corders with them and for an excrustiating amount of time. It's a good thing that we left just in time.

This blog is actually waring me out, so I'm just gonna post some pictures for a while.

Christmas day was not so much greater than Christmas eve was to my family. We celebrated by a wonderful home cooked dinner made by Mama. I was very eager for my mom and brother to open their presents. We have never done presents within our family, but I felt like getting them something. I got my brother a coin machine, which is quite amusing, and my brother and I chipped in to buy her a new hot water dispenser. Ours broke about a year ago, and with my mom's condition, I don't like her waking up to wait for water to boil for her tea. It was a much needed gift for her, no matter how many times she says she doesn't need it. It's just mom being mom, very modest. Christmas day, I decided to bust out the Wii and I ended up playing it for over 12 hours. Hooray for Mario Party 8!

Diego&Krystal time was ALL over the place this break :}

serious grocery shopping before sleepover

the beautiful breakfast Diego & I made

you wouldn't want to see what's underneath.

because I believe that whenever anyone wakes up, they should jump on the bed to start the day

indecisive shopping at Armani Exchange. Chad bought these $400-sum jeans. Haha, the cashier girl HATED her life

Well, after waking up & getting ready with Diego, we met up with Chad, shopped around Old Town Pasadena, waited for Krystal to get out of Urban, Chad left, last trio ate at Kabuki's, shopped some more in Old Town, returned to Diego's house to relax before Krystal & I headed home. I had a very eventful day that day.

HAHA

what is he talking about? what else...? a previous hookup he had back in Florida :P

no matter what angle, the sun was directly shined on her face, making her whiter than usual

HAHAHAH, WHO REMEMBERSS WHAT HAPPENED IN SAN FRANCISCO W/ ALL OF US (minus Justin)

and you can't have a break without cue pictures :]

I would've wrote more but it would be beyond novel-length.

Overall, this winter break was much needed. I dealt with a strenuous work load of juggling my two jobs, finishing all my finals, having English papers due left and right, and the unforgettable tedious, most what-seemed-like monotonous relationship with the recent ex. I don't know why I put such a big deal on the finale of it, because I know I'm better than that. I can't help but laugh and realize how opaque I can occasionally get when sidetracked with guys. The sudden epiphany I got after the full recovery was: I need to stop dating little boys. Haha, not ONLY in the sense of age but of their mindset as well. Even 22 year old can have the mindset of a retarded seventeen year old High School student. It's pathetic, they're just little kids. No more. I have gotten SO much support from people around me reassuring my worth, and I can't thank them enough. I love them, truly. I guess, if I can't give my big heart to someone will sweep me off my feet, I'd better show that love to my friends. That's what I wanted this break to be. My reunion with all my friends. I couldn't make it to Jose's release party for his fashion show, but we promised each other we'd see each other soon, the same goes for everybody else. This is a new year, the year of CHANGE, the year of new beginnings. I can't wait to see what 2009 has in store for me and my friends. What I do know is the saga continues. Coming up..... HELLO, AGAIN, SAN FRANCISCO! :D
Road trip in the process <3

P.S. thank you, Jenn, for making my Blogspot :}
